Maintenance of Professional Standards (MOPS) aims to stimulate the involvement of fellow MSA members in activities that will enhance their professional competency. This programme will demonstrate the degree of involvement by members in a programme that maintains competence. The MOPS programme was also initiated by the Society to achieve and maintain recognition by the Malaysian Society of Anaesthesiologists. This programme focuses on the professional development need of members by promoting activities that are advantageous to emergency medical practice. This programme is relevant, easily validated and fair. It is not meant to be onerous.
